blue sky nine rocks with The Rock!

Keynote band blue sky nine made two stops in November to military bases in the southeast: Fort Gordon in Georgia, and Fort Jackson (above) in South Carolina. They played before over 700 soldiers, received over 500 cards asking for more information, and saw 55 soldiers receive Christ! Praise God for this dynamic ministry!

Some comments:

  • "I'm very happy I came today. I feel like today marks the day I start living my life for God."
  • "Awesome. Thank you for opening a Jew's eyes to the love of Jesus."
  • "I loved the show and the spiritual comments touched me heart and soul. I say that because although I believe in God your group made me really think about wanting to go more in depth with my Lord Jesus Christ."

Praise God for these men and women – pray for them daily!

Tom's Health

As most of you know, Tom was diagnosed this fall with Papillary Cancer of the Thyroid. His visit to the dentist for a routine teeth cleaning resulted in a series of tests that culminated in the complete removal of his thyroid on November 13. The cancer was confirmed in the biopsy after the surgery.

Our next step in the healing process is for Tom to undergo a radioactive iodine treatment in January (we thought it was going to be this month, but that turned out not to be the case).

Once that is done he will go on Synthroid for the rest of his life to replace the hormone the thyroid naturally produces

Join us in praising God that everything well VERY well during the surgery, and that Tom is healing and feeling much better than he did before the operation.

Tom's Work

Tom has been busy this fall photographing the new bands, producing promotional materials for the bands, doing graphics work for recruiting tools, and working with a sign company to develop new signs for the new building!

Cathy's Work
Cathy has been very busy this fall also, working on training for new Keynote staff, as well as ongoing training for senior staff. Her teaching and organizational skills are proving to quite an asset to the Staff Development Department, which she joined in November.

Please pray for:
  • Pray for the new believers from Keynote events.
  • Pray for the finances to pay for Tom’s medical bills and for equipping our home recording studio!

THANKS!!
